70th birthday party

I walked to church across the field as it wasn't raining. It was pouring down as I came home so had to pavement walk. I had been invited to my friend Alison's husband John's birthday party. John volunteers on the East Lancs railway and it was him that got me involved. I took my camera and did ask if they would like photos. It was an opportunity to take all their grandchildren together as John's family live in the NE. It was lovely, I took lots of photos very natural as the children were blowing bubbles. I didn't like to use their photos as my blip as I hadn't  asked their parents permission so it's a collage of John's cake. He worked as a bus planner, and drives buses. I can't remember his proper title.
