Turin Porta Nova

We spent rather longer in Turin’s main railway station than we expected due to strike disruption but we managed to rebook our trains and switch to an intercity route that was later but guaranteed to run. We found a lovely coffee and lunch stop inside the station for our wait and eventually made it to our destination in Boario via Milan, although we had to fork out for a rather expensive taxi journey for the last lap from Brescia. It’s good to be back in our favourite small hotel here for another fortnight.
