Looking closely

Today was all about studying pictures.  Since the twins were so enthralled by the fantasy illustrations Josh shared with them last week, this week he brought a whole book of them.  He looked with them, then Andrew did, then Lex did.  Doug and Sam pored over a different illustrated book.  And for once the light was perfect for taking photos.

Doug's birthday is Tuesday, so we had a little celebration with a delicious cake after dinner. The boys start pre-school tomorrow and it will be interesting to learn how they do with a whole day being with other kids.  They don't seem anxious about it, at least not yet.
