Ice lolly

A very hot and sunny day. The midwife visited this morning. Lucas has lost a bit more of his birth weight than they like so a plan was put in place to help this.
I got 3 loads of washing done and dried on the line which was great.
After his nap Lando and I went out for a walk. First stop was for an ice lolly which we ate watching the boats and birds. I realised I hadn't brought wipes but he didn't make too much mess! Next we went to the beach to throw stones and talk to a swan.
As we headed home after we passed blipper SeasideSusie's house (I recognised her beautiful roses) we found loads of ripe brambles. As we had no tub these went into the hood of the pushchair and some into Lando! By this time he was bright purple and wipes would have been very useful. 
Tea was ready, courtesy of another church lady, when we got back.
Rachel felt up to watching an episode of The Turkish Detective before bed.
