2024 Sunday — Good, Good Day

Mr. Fun & I have enjoyed this Sunday immensely. While getting presentable to go to church here on the Central Coast, we listened to our favorite SoCal pastor, Jack Hibbs, preach about God’s chosen people, Israel.

Then to our wonderful Morro Bay church to worship and fellowship (see photos). Back home we enjoyed homemade tuna salad sandwiches for lunch. Then we watched a Texas church new to us because a friend shared the link and we especially enjoyed the worship music.

Late afternoon we watched the ocean as the fog lazily played; then dinner. And finally the pups got to take us for a walk. The breath of fresh air was refreshing.

Then back to the house and the finale was to dial in Pastor Alistair Begg’s morning message from a combo of the Apostle John’s gospel and from John’s letter.

If you think we listen to lots of sermons you are right. The more we listen, the more we want to listen. God’s Word is the Good News. This has been a good, good Sunday.
