Siberian doll rattle

In days of old I travelled from New Zealand/Aotearoa to London with S, our 4 year old son and 9 month old daughter. S was pregnant with our second daughter. We flew from Japan to Khabarovsk to catch the Trans-Siberian. 

We had a guided tour of the city, and our guide gave our little girl some booties as she worried that it was cold, and this doll/rattle. It surfaced as we were getting things out of boxes over the weekend. It was a much-loved toy.
