'Concert at the Orchard'

but it was a poetry reading: GIL SCOTT-HERON BLUESOLOGY' and I was not the only one who thought it was about his music. Nevertheless it was a success and this production will go to New York as an off broadway show. Gil Scott-Heron received in 2012 posthumously a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award. His daughter is carrying on his music and poetry. She is in this picture in the front.
The owner of the orchard used to be a producer for big concerts for anti-nuclear power and Gil had performed there a few times. So it was deja vu for him and 'new to me'. But my friend on facebook from Germany said she is a huge Gil Scott-Heron fan. I remember when she went to those concerts in Germany in the seventies in Europe.
