Back again

Abington. A site which we have stayed on in snow and ice, when the river was flooding and now in sunshine. Lovely to be back and this time the river side is covered with flowers, violas, violets, devil's bit scabious and delicate hare bells. It's a real treat!
As we've always been here in the winter, it's good to see it like this. There are still plenty of rabbits around, and also chaffinches, wagtails and robins.

Lottie and I had a good walk and chatted to some archaeologists, who were looking for the remains of a building that was destroyed in the 1700s.  No joy so far!

Lottie was hot enough to chance putting her paws in the river's edge to have a drink. Incredibly brave of her - she took four years to risk one paw in the sea!
