and nectar for the few remaining the butterflies around. Seen here is a red admiral, small tortoiseshell and a peacock. It’s not really been a good year for them or us, with too many wet days. September has started well, but let’s see.
The local golf course apparently had fourteen inches ( 350mm) of rain during August, which has been frustrating for members and the greenkeepers.
