Fly Guys

The Long-legged Flyies, Dolichopodidae, are out and about and are by far my favorite family of 'true flies'. Most adult Long-legged flies prey on other small animals, I have photographed them devouring large aphids and other insects. Although they reportedly come in other colors, most of the ones I see have a green/blue shine to them. Just beautiful!
