Day 14 in England

Poor bubba woke up with my cold but was a very good girl and still went to school with no complaints. Picked her up and she was still very quiet but we managed to get a smile out of her when she showed us her pocket hug from Auntie Bea.

Shan helped daddy cook dumplings for dinner today. She was very good at kneading the dough. After dinner we went for a ‘little’ walk. She was full of energy and in such good spirits. She even wanted to go for her ‘own little walk’…she skipped about four metres away from me then proclaimed she had finished her walk. Archie ran a circuit around the field and Shan ran to meet him at the end ‘Daddy!!! I missed you!’.

As we were walking back she told us that she made a new friend today. We said we were proud of her to which she said ‘No, don’t be proud. Give me a oh la la’ with a sassy hand flick. So we’ve found our new congratulations for each other!
