Shag #69
Chillier than of late, but crucially it was dry. We went up to South Stack to look for Choughs and saw a pair directly overhead from the small car park and then a group of 5 from Elin's tower.
After a lunch at Treaddur Bay we headed back via Point Lynas with the intention of looking for Risso's Dolphins, but couldn't find anywhere to park as the car park was rammed full of cars parked all over the place, so we went to Penmon Lighthouse instead.
The tide was in and this young Shag (at least I think it's a Shag and not a Cormorant?)was very confiding and wandering around the rockpools quite close to us. It didn't seem bothered by us or anyone else.
Nothing much else was around, so we went home. Mum had been catching up with a friend from Wales had also had a nice day.
