Forest Hill library…

My car has an MOT! The work D did on the bits of rusting on the subframe was praised by the mechanic. Now let’s hope there will be some late summer days to enjoy trips with the roof down.

From the garage in Sydenham we made our way by bus and foot to Forest Hill to register the MOT and immediately get the car taxed rather than wait for systems to be updated (I’m told), only the certificate had been left in the car back at the garage……

But, to look on the bright side, it was good to be in our old haunt and to see the library we used each week to change books. Some walk from our home but always well worth it. We also used a mobile library which came nearer to our home for in between visits.

And so today I’ve walked 9 miles, running some of those miles first thing. We decided we didn’t need a training walk this evening.
