Sand, sea and cliffs

With sporadic sunshine and zero precipitation we walked for miles along the cliffs, and, as the tide receded, the beaches and rock pools of this north Cornish coast. Sea birds were sparse. One lone hawk imitating a drone. Almost as many dogs as humans. The bye law mandating dogs on leads on the town beach widely flouted. A late afternoon visit to the shops we’ve used here for years. Another excellent meal in the hotel this evening.
