In Search of a Skyline

In London this week for the launch of my new book. Cold, and overcast, and windy. Today I had radio and TV interviews. Tomorrow it’s a meet and greet lunch at my publisher’s, after an interview for the Sunday Express. Then a literary dinner in the evening with all the London crime critics.

Breakfast in the hotel this morning was a disaster. I asked for porridge and got a bowl of uncooked porridge oats in hot milk. They just don’t know how to cook porridge in this city!
