Faded

This is the only photo I took today. It's what I could see as I was sitting on the square drinking wine this evening. This grand old maison de maître is sadly unoccupied now. The garden does get an occasional trim, but it's a shadow of its former self since it got hit by frost last February. The mimosa and the lemon tree are both gone. I do like the ornate ironwork though. A reminder of chaiselongue ... I still expect to see her blip every day.
