Day 15 - Grafton

Sugarcane around Grafton in northern New South Wales. Most of Australia’s sugarcane production takes place in Queensland with only about 5% produced in New South Wales. The countryside around Grafton has a very Queensland feel, with the sugarcane and the Queenslander houses built up on stilts.

The extra shows how tall the sugarcane is around here. In Queensland, it is often much taller.
