Sweet Corn

Our walk took us through a maize field today which was over eight feet high in places. It would be easy to get lost in there. I picked a cob to see if it was ripe and was surprised to find that it was mostly red inside. I don’t know if it is an unusual variety. In Canada we had “Peaches and Cream” variety which was amazing to look at and delicious to eat.
