Osprey
Moira and I went on a wonderful walk to the park this morning with a nice cool breeze. Usually this time of the year, our humidity is very high and we would have a hot and sticky walk. With daily thunder storms, I jumped at the chance early this morning while the skies were clear to get in a walk. I really needed some time outside (I have been inside all week!) to soak in the quiet beauty of the water, trees and birds.
There is a long boardwalk and observation tower that goes over some wetlands looking out to the bay in the park by our home. When we got to the boardwalk, Moira wanted to get out of the stroller and climb the tower to look. We were rewarded with seeing an Osprey flying around and fishing. He was way to far out for me to get a photo. But after we resumed our walk, Moira spied the Osprey soaring above us and he landed on a dead tree posing just for us. Moira wanted to get out of the stroller and take the photo herself!
Hopefully this photo fits for the "Above You" in the Heartfreek July photo challenge!
Have a wonderful day!
