When will we/he ever learn!!

Hugo came through to the living room this morning with a piece of toast he had helped himself to from the kitchen table.
Not a disaster but there was almost one last week!
On Friday, I noticed there was a ripped small cardboard box just outside our back door. When I went down the garden, there was Hugo chewing the contents. It was a small glass bottle that had contained syrup.
Unfortunately, he had broken the bottle. I tried to piece the bits together but there was a small piece missing and we couldn’t find it anywhere.
I phoned the vet and we had to take him to the surgery. The vet made him sick to remove the piece and it seemed to work and he’s fine.
A very expensive £275 lesson!!!
