Rotting windfall

Our apple tree has been proficient this year. This windfall didn’t make it to the kitchen before being attacked and starting to rot. Unsurprisingly, a small slug is also benefitting. Thanks to McCaviti for hosting today’s TinyTuesday challenge.
This morning, despite the rain, we took the train into town to visit the covered market and buy fish and vegetables, I snapped the extra blip while waiting for the train home.
