Not just any stair gate…..

…. but an engineered bespoke solution. Our friend did the balustrade and screen refurbishment a few years ago. When the subject of a stair gate came up in conversation we were both keen to avoid putting load on the newel post, and the glazed screen was a consideration. So he rose to the challenge. The gate was re-engineered, cut and welded, brackets made and a latch designed and fabricated. The handrail was disconnected at one point to hide a fixing. It’s ideal. And can be installed in seconds on days when our grandson is here. And as he’s now taken his first steps it’s vitally important!
