Snugness

Something is missing here. Any idea? If you guessed mud flaps you would be right. I pull just about every kind of dry box at my current job including trailers that were designed for single axle trucks not a twin axle (tandem) truck. Not only do I have to have the fifth wheel slid all the way back but I also have to remove the mud flaps. If I don't, then in the first turn the landing gear will rip off a flap and then you'll be talking to safety while also getting a preventable damage write up on your company record.

It was a bit eerie going over Blewett Pass last night. Multiple signs warning of fire activity in the area. I didn't see anything going north but coming back south in the distance you could see some orange glow. Hopefully the rain coming in tonight will help the firefighters.
