Quick shot taken as I was rushing to my appointment at the optician's this afternoon. For those who don't know Glasgow, the area under the railway bridge is known locally as The Hielanman's Umbrella.

I am greatly relieved that, although my near sight has deteriorated, I will be allowed to continue driving, but with new specs. I don't grudge that because my current glasses don't owe me anything. As well as the new varifocals, I'm getting stronger specs for reading.

I'm having trouble with my phone - "Not registered on network" all of a sudden - and on my call to Tesco Mobile's customer care department today, the assistant was talking to me from Cape Town! Crazy!
