The Taff

This is the view of the river Taff looking south, where it bends left towards the barrage, then out to the Bristol Channel. In the distance you can see the Channel View flats. I had a paper round when I was about fourteen, and these flats were part of my round. There are thirteen floors, and half the time the lifts were out of order. It was good exercise though. They are due to be demolished soon as they are in a bad state of disrepair. A lot of new social housing is due to be built in its place.
