Bus Pass Walk
It was pouring down and windy first thing which did not bode well for our walk, but it dried up as we set off out, and we even got warm sunshine for most of our walk. You would not know that though from this main image of Five Rise Locks as the sky looked quite stormy. We had set off down to Beckfoot, and the first thing we saw was a deer in the field. It looked young but had huge antlers, sadly not easy to see on my collage in extras. We then realised there were 2 deer together. Lovely to see. We walked along to Cottingley Bridge then up to Dowley Gap and onto the canal. As we neared Bingley we decided to continue to Five Rise Locks and have lunch at the cafe there. We even had 2 coffees as we hadn't had an earlier coffee stop! :-) Also in extras - a view of Beckfoot, the canal and a boat with a great name.
