Some Midlands heritage

This sits in our local park among the swings and roundabouts, for the bairns to play on, and it's actually a real live tractor! (well it's not so live now obviously, hence the reason it's sunk in concrete!).

It's a Ferguson TE20, built in Coventry from 1948 to 1956, the year before Massey-Ferguson was formed, and I think it's both sensitive and original of our city fathers to put it here.

The wee boys love playing on it, the older ones reminisce over it, and the in-betweenies like me warm to the nod it gives to days gone by.

Lovely!!
