Le Dumont D'Urville

Two things are unusual about this cruise ship which arrived early evening just before the sun went down.

1) It is a rather small luxury cruise ship described as a French luxury expedition ship, showing 4 passenger decks with 88 staterooms & 4 suites.  Capacity 184 passengers.
2) It is only the second cruise ship in over 40 years that I have seen park at the anchorage just off Kirkcaldy.

All I can find out about its itinary is that it has arrived from Lerwick.

Usually the cruise ships pass in and out of the Firth of Forth via the south side and either enter the ports of Leith or Rosyth (if small enough) or anchor nearby.

Maybe this one didn't want to mix with the hoi polloi.
