Gray Hairstreak

Very common little butterfly but I really do not see them often.
We worked at the old homeplace on the island today. Hubby weed whipped the deep ditches and I finished mowing the front field. When that job was done we repaired the neighbors 4 fence sections that had fallen over in our yard. We have been doing the fence repairs for years and also paying for the supplies and new fence 8'x6' panels. Three new fence posts today and expensive screws to put the panels back up. The worse part of the job was getting the old, broken off at the ground posts out. They almost won. We have the fourth panel and one post to put in tomorrow. Just to hot and tired to finish the job today. A reason to get up tomorrow I guess as I do not like jobs that are not finished. Happy Blipping!
