stonehaven surprise

the girls have been going nuts all week because we mentioned the possibility of stonehaven outdoor pool on tuesday then ended up staying at home as I had work to do. disappointment to the max x3.

so, as we were taking bee into town to drop him off for his london trip anyway today, I thought we might as well head to stonehaven after that...but I didn't tell the kids and hid all their stuff in the car.

totally worth it to see their faces as we arrived...daisy said 'mum, you're evil but I love you'. it was so sunny and warm it reminded us of portugal this time last year...except portugal didn't have an auntie betty's ice cream shop, so today it was slightly better.

now, pizza and jaws on the telly. excellente.
