Long ride over today on the train from Amsterdam, but got to Berlin and checked into our hostel. It's incredible, it's an abandoned hospital that has been renovated and now has pet rabbits and a sauna and pool! So nice in Berlin. I immediately felt a connection that I didn't in Amsterdam. Something about this city is so refreshing - the east side has all the charm and quaintness of Paris with its little cafes and street art, and the west side feels like a shiny and vibrant European New York.
I look forward to starting my exploration tomorrow. So far I have nothing but happiness. Might have to live here..
