Later I was counting the kaki on our kaki tree. Planted a year or two after we arrived and having survived very dry summers and transplanting it now bears 9 fruit. One was prematurely ripe due to an insect attack. God, it was delicious. During counting I noticed this slumbering Great Green Bush-Cricket. Apparently they can give a nasty bite.
