He’s home!

Rushed Bertie to the vets yesterday morning when it was obvious he was trying to pee but couldn’t. He had a blockage and had to get a catheter in, bloods done, x ray done. Blockage was cleared ok by our vet but as they don’t offer overnight care, I’d to take him to the Glasgow centre which does. They released him again to me this morning and he’d to spend the day back at our vets until the removed the catheter and checked all was well. He was a model patient!
Now he’s back home with two lots of meds plus eye gel ( seemingly opioid painkillers can cause eye ulcers) and special food for him to have to prevent a recurrence.
An adventure he’d rather not have had and an experience my credit card will not forget in a hurry!
