All About Muskoxen

Today is the third sea day for us in a row as we plough on towards Alaska.  This morning we attended an interesting lecture about Muskoxen where we learned quite a bit that we didn't know beforehand.  I especially liked the quote from scientists about the effects of head butting!

We have been told we might well see these animals roaming around the streets of Nome when we get there.  That should be interesting!

Another handy bit of information which was imparted to us at the end of the talk was about bears:

"If it's black, fight back
If it's brown, lie down
If it's white ... Good Night!"
