It begins

My life likes to plant fruit and vegetables in the garden to grow here own things. After the building work has now finished (more or less) she has started to cultivate the garden. Usually we get a tomato harvest just as we're going on holiday... and as you can see here this one one day's harvest and we've already had the same yesterday and I expect the same tomorrow.

The courgette plants once they get going have can be particularly productive. Likewise the cucumber can get silly if you plant too many of them. The tomatoes do come from a variety of plants but they do tend to crop at the all at the same time.

The tomatoes are sent to my mother-in-law to cook down into a sauce and bottle as we can't eat them fast enough, plus the fluted red ones here aren't good eating at all, but are fine in a sauce.
