Wind before the Storm

This morning was very windy but the sun was shining so two loads of washing were hung out, the first dried quickly but then we went out to lunch with L at Stocktonbury Gardens. They were hosting some of the H.Art week, this is the week where local artist open their studios & venues showcase local ceramics, felting, paintings, jewellery, leather work, willow weaving, etc, etc.
On the way home we stopped off at St Michael’s Church where a group of artists & makers were showing their work. I came home with a woollen buttoned collar for the winter. At times it felt like winter today with the cold wind & then it turned to rain - second load of washing was still on the line & very wet when we got home.
Spent over an hour trying to update firmware on L’s R5 camera after me saying it was really easy, it turned out her phone wasn’t up to the job & when I said let’s try it on my phone as a last ditch attempt it worked in five minutes - I hate technology!
