Japanese Acer
The late afternoon sun on the Japanese Acer tree after the wee rain shower.
With the cool evenings, the leaves will begin to turn autumnal colours soon.
Snow up north on the hills.
Out in the garden for a while this morning moving small pots away from the hedge. Swept up some leaves & cut back the buddleja & deflowered the lady's mantle which is spreading too much.
Bins out feeling a bit better for doing something.
Rested afternoon then read a bit before tea - book I'm currently reading is "Music in the Dark" by Sally Magnusson.
