Acidanthera

I drove Manon down to Baddeck in the morning so she could spend the day exploring the village and get a bit of a feel for Cape Breton, altho it is kinda weird at this time of year, so many tour buses in the village....therefore lots and lots of people!

I spent time in the studio making bowls.   Then a massage with Rae and pick up Manon and the pizza for tonight's dinner!

So we have an interesting situation.....my daughters were supposed to arrive from Vancouver on the 18th, and yesterday we discovered that Air Canada was poised to go on strike....on the 15th!!!   Long story short, they will now arrive on the 14th....this Saturday....woo hoo!   That's the wonderful part, however the cabin they will be staying in won't be available till the 18th...so with some moving things around in the house, they will all be here for the 4 night!   This will be interesting for sure....3 more adults, and 2 very energetic 3 year olds!!!   as long as i can have my naps in the afternoon all should be good.  i'm of course thrilled that i get to have them here longer than expected!
