Lynmouth

Not my place, but one I have visited on many occasions, and today was one of them. This morning was my Interval class, and a good one it was too. after a quick shower and getting changed I was ready to be picked up by a friend from the camera club, after she had finished her morning at work.

We headed over to Lynmouth, the sun was shining, and the weather was looking far better than forecast. We had lunch in the cafe above the Tourist Information Office, before having a wander around the village. It was good to see it busy with lots of people enjoying their visit. 

When we left in the middle of the afternoon we headed back to the Lynton & Barnstaple Railway Station, in time for a coffee and cake before having a stroll in the little wood, and waiting for the steam train to return from its run. We even spotted some deer in the corner of a field  across the valley. So all in all a lovely day :-)
