Remembering together
It was a clear and sunny day, though somewhat chilly today. Anyway, I did cycle to work and glad I did.
At lunchtime I went for a walk across the Crichton and took a closer look at the memorial near the church.- The Dispersed Memorial Forest. In memory of the people lost during the pandemic trees have been planted across various sites of the region.
The sandstone plinth has the poiniant inscription:
"My biggest learning just how much we need each other, how much we miss each other in isolation "
