Desert Panorama

My referring assignment took me to the far reaches of San Diego County, almost a hundred miles (160km) over the coastal hills to the inland desert south of Palm Springs. I took my wife along on the two hour drive and we made a day of it. Despite temperatures in triple digits (114ºF/45ºC), I exited our air-conditioned vehicle to capture this five photo panorama as we traveled through the Anza-Borrego State Park. I would love to return when the conditions are more conducive to exploring this unique area.
