I’m not proud.,,

I was seduced to the dark side. Could not resist the pumpkin spice creamer! I’m so happy to see the pumpkin stuff hit the shelves!! I do love fall!
There is a hurricane hitting the coast right now. Prayers for the residents. We are slated to get 3-5” of rain tonight and tomorrow. The moisture is so welcome! Days a cooling down and maybe this will usher in a lasting break from the heat and drought.
I finally did a little kitchen work today and started 2 ferments: roasted sweet peppers, and a basil and garlic paste. I also puréed basil with garlic and olive oil and froze it in ice cube trays. It will be ready to make pesto, tomato soup, and pasta sauce! My kitchen smelled wonderful. AND I actually cooked supper! Picked up manicotti at Aldi’s and had green beans in butter garlic sauce. I’m so proud of me!! :—))
