Soldiers Baths

Back into the routine of an early walk along the esplanade to Nobby’s, out along the breakwater (black line, left) where a fur seal rolled close to the rocks below and back for coffee at the beach kiosk. The surf was almost flat, the swell broken by surfers and a pod of dolphins.

Soldiers Baths is an early ocean pool visible only at low tide, and seemingly little used and not maintained.
