Some views of Leeds Liverpool canal from Rishton.
The Feast Day of the Most Holy Name of Mary.
It is 12c, bright and sunny.
An elderly lady called Anita who is a friend from the Christian Fellowship is in need of prayers after suffering a stroke. My friend Lynn told me this morning. She is a kind Christian woman and her husband Arthur passed a few years ago.
I have been out for a couple of neighbourhood walks. I am saving the photos I took of dahlias for tomorrow and the Flower Friday challenge.
This view of the canal was only possible because a gate was open after a long while. It leads to a small farm. Behind those lovely trees on the right, is Pendle Hill, a popular well known landmark.
Our cat Hunter got very sick this morning. I always put a blanket on armchairs and the places in the conservatory where the cats sit, so thank goodness most of it went on the blanket. I cleaned it up, comforted Hunter and put the blanket in the washing machine. It was not great first thing in the morning. He has been subdued all morning and sat quietly on his climbing frame. I hope he recovers because he is impossible to get in a cat basket to go to the vet.
I ordered two fleecy cat blankets for the cats, now it is so cold at night. They will be delivered this afternoon.
We are watching Escape to the Country now, and they are viewing properties in the South West.
Hunter went outside and gradually got over his upset but he has not eaten anything. We saw him drinking rainwater from a saucer in the garden.
Thank you for visiting my site and have a lovely Thursday, blip friends.
