Delichon urbicum

I followed the 'Equine Footpath' between Markstakes Lane and Town Littleworth once again this morning, on my leisurely walk home after accompanying Mrs Catspaw on her walk to work. I didn't see either the Donkey or the Pony today, but I was heartened to see a flock of about a dozen House Martins (Delichon urbicum) swooping for food above the large, L-shaped field around the midway point along the path.
