Playtime

Rani has found her (third or fourth) toy hedgehog again, and played with it just before feeding time this afternoon. I‘d have loved to post a video instead of a photo today - she looked so happy, bouncing all over the living room with her favourite toy. 

As I needed to drive P to his check up after yesterday’s surgery, we got up early and left the house at 7:30 a.m.. When we came back, I went to work, trying to make up for lost time. There are several projects piling up and getting uncomfortably urgent, and my last work related phone call came in just now, shortly before 7 p.m.. 

I didn’t mind 12 hour shifts when I was 30, but now, at almost double that age, I’m feeling shattered.
