Naples

The highlight of the day was the Archaeological Museum of Naples. There are objects, mosaic floors and murals from Pompeii, among others. The museum is so big that you do not have time or energy to see it all in one day. My husband seemed to be at home with the over 2000 years old athletes. (They are from Herculaneum).
Extra: After the museum visit, we were ready for lunch. On the way through the old town we ended up in the middle of an St Andrew procession! What a life, what a spectacle, so exciting. The crowd carried silver sculpture of St Andrew from one church to another. And there were so many people, so we just had to go with the flow.
