Marjorie's ramblings

By walkingMarj

Thursday, the photo workshop continues

We were up and out by 0600 for a dawn shoot. Sadly the light did not materialise in anything like an effective way. It was soon sunny and the sky was bright blue. The wind ruffled Derwentwater too much.

We returned to the B&B for a specially cooked late breakfast. Excellent!

Out again, this time to Blea Tarn. The traffic was held up for ages because of road works. We thought we would never get there.

Again, the light was against us. There were drivers who struggled with the single track roads. More frustration for Mark!

We met a lovely wild swimmer who was only disappointed because she came by car instead of on a big motorbike!

Today’s Blip was taken from a roadside stop in St John in the Vale. The house looks diminutive against the base of High Rigg.

My extra is a Herdy near Manesty Woods. I do love the way they look and behave. They must be the most chilled sheep in the world.

We are all very tired, especially after chasing clouds which appeared with a small squall. Unsuccessful again.

We had a brief stop on the Kirkstone Pass.

Time for coffee and whisky.
