A field of flax
This was my view while walking Laney with my weekly walking group. The area is called Bear Creek Park and has wide paths for walkers, runners, and bicyclists that meander up and down and all around. It was cool and uncrowded this morning, a real delight.
The flax I am referring to is toad flax, or butter and eggs, which is a lovely yellow and cream colored wildflower.
