Desperately seeking

Pharmacy

The day begin with a trip up to Carlisle to collect medication from the Infirmary pharmacy. A bit of a nuisance having to do a 40-mile round trip on a busy day, but I have to be thankful the NHS are there for me.

The Jelly Babies have also had a busy day. Miss Green has returned Solace to the marina and her friends are having their last night on the boat. She however, is staying aboard and waiting for the three old Jelly Babies Geriatrics, to join her.

Miss Green looks perturbed about the staircase lock, she has forgotten how to do them! "Don't worry!" says Ms Scarlet "the instructions are on the board." "It's simple once you understand them" says Mr Black, "and I'll be there to help, you just steer through."

What's all the fuss about Pharmacies?" asks Mr Brown, "Why do they need to to be marked on the map? We've enough drugs between us to sink a less sturdy narrowboat!"

"Ah, well," says Ms Scarlet "we've had several holidays when we've needed to seek a Pharmacy!" "Hopefully, not this time!" says Mr Black.

We'll all be going round the bend this trip to get onto the Caldon Canal.
